During one of our seminars, a woman came to me about her problems and spiritual attacks, left, right, and center. Her family had been through a storm of hardship. Her husband, the breadwinner of the home, had lost his business. Their finances were in ruins, and to make things worse, he had fallen ill between life and death. Doctors had no answer for his sickness, and everything seemed to point to the end. Well, it took prayer to cancel evil plan of the enemy and return them back to sender.

As she cried and explained, we knew there was more to the story. In this ministry, we understand that our physical world mirrors battles happening in spiritually. So, we took her case to God in prayer.

In the place of prayer, God revealed that the enemy had crafted a wicked plan. The evil forces had set their eyes on the breadwinner of this family to bring down his business and bring him to an untimely death. The devil wanted to wreck their home and leave the family in despair. But as we prayed, we felt the mighty hand of God move in a powerful way. God stood up and reminded the enemy that He alone is God and has the final say.

Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn.” That was exactly what happened. The weapons formed against this family did not prosper. The man’s health was restored, and doors for financial recovery began to open. God canceled the evil plan of the enemy and reversed the situation completely.

This is why you and me will stand firm in prayer. The devil’s plan is to steal, kill, and destroy, but we serve a living God who cancels every evil plot against us. If you believe, then God will do the same for you right this moment.

Prayer Can Destroy Evil Calendar Scheduled After Your Life

Yes, it is possible to cancel the evil calendar set against your life.

In Exodus 9:12, the Bible says, “But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart, and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said to Moses.” If God could harden the heart of Pharaoh to fulfill His divine purpose, do you think He cannot destroy the evil plans and timelines of the enemy over your life?

The devil loves to plan against God’s children, setting dates for failure, setbacks, or even death. But through powerful and persistent prayer, we can overturn those wicked plans. Isaiah 54:17 tells us that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Prayer is the key to shattering the enemy’s agenda.

You have to show God that you mean business. This is warfare—just like manipulating the heart of Pharaoh, it requires dangerous prayers to tear apart evil calendars.

What do you need to do to ensure that when you pray against the evil plans of the enemy, heaven respects your voice?

1. Faith

Faith is the foundation for any prayer to be effective. Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that “without faith, it is impossible to please God.” Before we begin to pray, we must ensure that our faith is strong and unwavering. Let’s look at the example of Elijah in 1 Kings 18:41-46.

Elijah prayed for rain after years of drought. But what is remarkable is that before there was any sign of rain, Elijah already spoke with confidence. He told King Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” Elijah could hear the rain in his spirit even when there was no visible cloud in the sky. He sent his servant seven times to look for a sign, and on the seventh time, a small cloud appeared. This shows the level of Elijah’s faith. He didn’t wait for evidence before believing; his faith was based on God’s power, not on what he could see.

Before we engage in spiritual warfare, our faith must be rooted in God’s promises, not in what we see or hear in the physical world. If doubt creeps in, the devil will use that to weaken our prayer. Believe that God hears you, and He is more than able to cancel the enemy’s plans.

2. Sacrifice

Prayer against the enemy’s schemes often requires more than just words; it demands sacrifice. In the Bible, sacrifice can come in many forms, but one common sacrifice is fasting. Jesus taught His disciples the importance of fasting, and He practiced it Himself. In Matthew 17:21, Jesus says, “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Certain battles require more than casual prayer.

Fasting is a way of renouncing the natural to invoke the supernatural. It brings our spirit in alignment with God’s will and opens the heavens for divine intervention. When you fast, it is a sign of your total dependence on God. In Joel 2:12, God calls His people to return to Him “with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” It shows God the seriousness of our request.

3. Purity of Heart

When we pray, we must remember that God listens to the words from our heart, not just from our mouth. The condition of your heart matters. In Psalm 66:18, it says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” We must come before God with clean hands and a pure heart. Confess your sins and ask for forgiveness before you begin to pray, because sin can block your prayers from being heard.

God is not interested in mere words; He wants to see our sincerity. As you prepare to cancel the evil plans of the enemy, ensure that your heart is right with God. Pray with a clean heart, free from bitterness, envy, or malice.

4. Persistence

Finally, prayer to cancel the enemy’s plans requires persistence. Just like Elijah kept sending his servant to check for signs of rain, even when the sky was clear, we must pray without ceasing. Sometimes, the answer may not come immediately, but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working. In Luke 18:1, Jesus teaches about the importance of persistence in prayer, saying that we “ought always to pray and not lose heart.”

Don’t give up after one prayer session. Keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God will act in His perfect time.
